Bataburo Camp

In the middle of the untouched rainforest of the Ecuadorian Amazon basin we find our camp Bataburo, which provides its guests with the necessary comfor tbut without losing the adventurous spirit of the location. The camp is located 90 kilometres southeast of Coca (Puerto Francisco de Orellana) on the river Tiguino where we find the mystical and wild heart of the primary rainforest. Together with the organization of the Huaorani villages, the ONHAE, we agreed to build the Bataburo camp in their territory.

The Bataburo camp has been built in the style of traditional dwellings of Amazon indigenous people, in complete harmony with the surrounding jungle. The accommodation is in cabins or tents set up on platforms with shared facilities, with mosquito-nets, and electricity (110V).

In the main cabin, which serves as a bar and dining room, there is space to relax in hammocks and enjoy the view of the lagoon "Amaruncocha", situated right behind the lodge. Our guides will make sure that your trip is an unforgettable adventure, with their fun antics and immense knowledge of the jungle ecosystem.
