The Ecuadorian jungle has more diversity than any other ecosystem, and covers around 45% of the total area of Ecuador. There are an impressive variety of animal species like birds, insects, mammals, and reptiles as well as fantastic flora; brightly coloured flowers, large leaved ferns and with all manner of local uses (from medicine to umbrellas!).
During your time in the jungle you will participate in a variety of activities from trekking through the undergrowth, canoeing along the waterways or even swinging from vines, all the while looking out for some of the jungles' resident animals; caiman, monkeys and macaws to name just three from a long list.
