Technical Information
The San José is a very spacious yacht measuring 110 feet in length and 25 feet wide. The accommodation consists of eight very spacious 5.80 m by 2.50m (18.8 feet by 8 feet) cabins, with double beds and private bathrooms. All of the cabins are exterior and a have great views of the ocean.
The San José also offers you two sun deck areas with comfortable loungers, beach tables and benches, where you can kick back and enjoy the cruise, the sun and the island landscapes, and with a little bit of luck glimpse passing dolphins or whales.
Our guides are among the top multilingual guides working on the Galapagos Islands, trained by the Galapagos National Park Service and the Darwin Research Station. Our nine crew members are experienced, well trained and certified by the IMO (International Marine Organization).
Safety is very important to us, and for that reason this brand new yacht has sophisticated navigation equipment surpassing international safety regulations. We have two Navigations Radars, 2 Sonar and GPS systems, all the emergency devices such as an EPIRB, Satellite signal device, emergency flares, 2 inflatable emergency rubber boats, life vests in each cabin, etc. During our daily excursions we always provide our passengers with life jackets for travel to the islands on the "zodiac" boats, each holding 10 people.

Accommodation is for 16 passengers in 8 double cabins with private facilities, warm water and air conditioning. The boat is powered by 2 Caterpillar motors and can comfortably cruise at 12 knots. Her dimensions are 110 ft. by 24 ft. and generators provide standard 110 and 220 ac / 12 and 24 dc electricity.
