ECONOMY CLASS TOURS ON THE GALAPAGOS ISLANDS

These are small boats for between 12 and 16 passengers. The cabins are basic and often a little cramped. They will not have air conditioning and hot water is not guaranteed, but no matter how basic, these boats will still get your round the Galapagos Islands!

Rumba Tourist Yacht

A motor yacht with a capacity for 10 passengers in 5 double berth cabins with private facilities. We pride ourselves on our ability to offer diving opportunities around these magnificent islands and there perfect corals. Diving in Galapagos is a unique experience and we invite you to go underwater with our dive masters to swim with schools of hammerhead sharks, or frolic with the playful sea lions, curious to know whom these new habitants of the depths are.

The boat includes the following comforts; a sundeck, cozy lounge areas, TV and VHS, and the crew consists of 5 plus one bilingual naturalist guide.

Technical information:

Cruising speed is 8 knots using a Isuzu 150 hp engine. The generators provide 110v and for divers the Rumba provides all facilities and equipment for beginners or experienced divers.

New Flamingo

The New Flamingo provides accomodation for 10 passengers in 5 double cabins with private bathroom (hot shower, toilet and hand basin). She is 15m by 4.80m and has a speed of 8 knots. The crew consists of the captain, a sailor, cook, mechanic, and a bilingual naturalist guide. 110 ac, 12 volt dc power is provided by 2 generators and the boat is fully equipped with appropriate navigation equipment; radar, marine radios VHF and HF, depth sounder and GPS.

Yolita

This is a "diving, tourist B" class motor yacht, equipped with the necessary facilities; its capacity: 16 passengers in 8 small-size double cabins with upper and lower beds, and private bathrooms; hot water; small diving platform. Ideal, for its quality, service and good price, for students, back-packers, walk-in travellers, last-minute dealers... A professional and bilingual guide level II certified by the GNPS will assist you during all the cruise. Good service, fine food... Experience the wonder of discovering the most impressive places, animals and plants each day! The Yolita operates 8 days tours from Sunday-to-Sunday or from Thursday-to-Thursday; 5 days and 4 days trips are also available.
