BATABURRO LODGE IN THE AMAZON JUNGLE, ECUADOR
Bataburro Lodge was built in the traditional style of the indigenous Amazon people, styled to be in complete harmony with the surrounding jungle. In this tropical paradise, Bataburro offers comfort without loosing the wild sense of adventure, with accommodation in double rooms with private or shared facilities, mosquito-nets and electricity (110V).
In the main cabaña, which serves as a bar/dining room, there is a space to relax in hammocks and enjoy spectacular views of our lagoon "Amaroncocha", which is right behind the cabaña. Birds eye views can be had from our observation tower standing around 132 feet, permitting extended views across the Amazon basin.
Tours to the Huaorani Territory
We offer tours of 4 to 8, or 15 days with accommodation at the lodge. In addition, specially designed tours are available from 6 days, visiting the small village Bameno of the Huaorani tribe situated on the river Cononaco where the famous chief Kem Pere lives.
